The Agency for Cultual Affairs (Bunka-cho) supports international film co-productions to promote cultural exchange through cinema,
and contribute to the development of Japanese film.
CO-PRODUCTION SUBSIDY SYSTEM
(Fiction feature film and Animation)
Selective Subsidy Amount : Up to one-fifth of qualifying expenditures to a maximum of 50 million yen per film for films of over 100 million yen and a maximum of 100 million yen per film for films of over 300 million yen.
